Despite increased concern about security threats and a worldwide travel alert from the U.S. State Department, not everyone is on high alert.
Thirteen passengers on a flight from Cancún to New York City were accidentally allowed to bypass customs and border security at John F. Kennedy International. The error was attributed to “airline employee error,” according to ABC News.
American Airlines Flight 1671 arrived at JFK at 8:50 p.m. on Friday.
“Some passengers on flight 1671 did not complete the immigration and customs process upon arrival when they were inadvertently directed to the domestic terminal,” American Airlines said in a statement. Read more…
