An asteroid that was only discovered 11 days ago will make its closest pass by Earth on Halloween (Oct. 31), making your holiday extra spooky.

Luckily, the holiday won’t also be filled with a fiery impact of the space rock, since this asteroid will safely steer clear of our planet, according to calculations from NASA scientists

An asteroid-hunting observatory called Pan-STARRS in Hawaii discovered the asteroid — named 2015 TB145 — 11 days ago, and the space rock looks like it will pass about 300,000 miles from the planet’s surface (approximately 1.3 times the distance of Earth to the moon) when it safely speeds past the planet during its closest approach.
